About Us

Salinger’s Orchards was established in 1901 and is farmed by the fourth generation Tim Salinger. We are dedicated to growing quality apples, peaches, pears, nectarines, plums, cherries, and other seasonal crops. The farm market and cafe is open all year long.

Located in Putnam County New York, our orchard is just a stones throw from the Westchester County NY line, less than a 10 minute drive from both Dutchess County and nearby Connecticut, less than 25 minutes from White Plains, and only a 45 minute drive from the New York City line. We grow and market 18 varieties of apples, as well as pears, peaches, plums, nectarines, pumpkins, tomatoes and other local vegetables not to mention pure, local honey.

We are family owned and operated tending to the orchards and baking a delicious assortment of pies and other tasty treats that emerge daily from our bakery.
Every day our bakery produces varieties of succulent apple pies and other fruit pies as well as cookies, muffins, donuts, strudels , scones and more.
Orders are taken during the holiday season for Thanksgiving and Christmas pies as well as for fresh turkeys and spiral-cut hams.
